Now I am adding some deep black over the previous layers. He is starting to look really good, don’t you think? I also add his eyes. I love his amber eyes that are rimmed in a pumpkin color.

here’s the next stage. I have begun to add the water and improve the reflection. I think the reflection needs to be darker to set off the wolf, so I ma going in that direction. next time the finished piece.

I have been reworking the fur on this wolf. I wasn’t too satisfied with it so I used a soft paintbrush and removed some of the pastel. Then I added more darks and then the lights. I also used a pastel pencil on the whitest wispy hairs. I like the way it turned out. I …
