I have just begun a new painting of a Gypsy Vanner called Scarlet. She is really beautiful and I am so excited about painting her. Thanks to Jamie Mammano for the use of the photo. Here is the first stage:
I used a light gray paper. I am going to put a dark background for drama and to contrast with her white mane . At this point I am putting in some basic color and feeling my way around, So far I am pleased with it. Stay tuned.
