The studio is all set up for this weekend’s Pastel Workshop. We also received our Artisan Trail sign today which we proudly placed in our window. It will be wonderful to be part of the upcoming studio tours in the Shenandoah Valley. We will be updating photos on Facebook this weekend of all our fun!

I finished the painting by puting in her beautiful mane, I am very pleased with the finish. I did go back and add more green to the background to make it seem more out doorsy.

I am having so much fun painting this beautiful horse!! She belongs to Samantha VanSickle of StarFire Gypsy in Dobbins, CA. here is another update: I worked more on her face and added her ears. I wanted a dramatic background to set this horse off. So I added some very dark colors and some greens.
