This is a favorite painting of mine. This wolf is standing in a beautiful woodsy fall background. I love the colors. I started off with a gray piece of velour paper. And then I started my drawing with a hard black pastel.
I also began to add some of the background color too. It makes it more fun for me if I add some color. It is pretty sketchy at this pint, but I will be adding more color to the wolf next.
